These are two of the three guys I went wakeboarding with. Toyo-kun (left) and Kazu-kun (right). Kazu-kun later invited me to a BBQ where I met a bunch of other people.

The third guy I went wakeboarding with. I forgot his name, and he wasn't at the BBQ, but I'm sure I'll see him again, and learn his name.

Goshoura style BBQ. Just grab some meat and stick it on the cut-in-half barrel filled with burning wood and a grill on top, then dip it in some sauce and eat. Kazu-kun (far left) invited me here. Next to him is Toyo-kun, and I forgot the names of the other two guys.

The guy who drives the boat... forgot his name.

Kazu (he told me to drop the -kun) and... Japanese names are really hard for me to remember... he's the boat driver's little brother.

Work

My supervisor, Koechi-san holding a huge dead sacaeda-type bug. They're very noisy in Japan, and I have been lead to believe that they're all this big here.

This is ide-sensei, the art teacher at Goshoura Junior High, he also is one of four people who live in my building. He told me he'd take me surfing with him sometime, but we'll see. This picture was taken after the mini-bare day at the office party. All teachers from both schools and the BOE were present.
