Advertisement for a few upcomming Mario games. Apparently the Mario Bros are no longer Italian... For obvious reasons, I'm not sure if they have this same advertisement in America, but I assume they don't since they're two Japanese guys. This was found in a small game store in Osaka.
----------------------

Found in a huge Borders-style store in Fukuoka. Strangely, the video ame characters are next to the DVD sign, and sure enough, there were no video games to be found anywhere in the store.
----------------------

Here is Mario advertising a Christmas sale at a clothing store. Nothing to do with video games. Found on the door of a huge department store in Kumamoto City.
----------------------

This poster found in the science room in Goshoura Junior High School. Detective Conan here is showing us the difference between a smoker's lung and a non-smoker's lung.
----------------------

At first, I thought this was an ad for a Lupin III movie, but I looked again, and it's actually a movie about Arsene Lupin I. Lupin I is a famous character in Japanese literature, much like Sherlock Holmes is in America. Found in the movie theatre in Fukuoka.
----------------------

KIRBY CURRY! (Apparently in 24 varieties, but I only found one.) Found in Taiyo (a walmart type store) in Hondo City.
----------------------

The second Kirby product I found. Not sure what it is, so if you know, be sure to e-mail me, although I'll probably just open it one day and find out. This was very exciting, because I actually found it in Goshoura.
----------------------

So I finally opened the kirby thing, and it turns out it's these little packets that you sprinkle on rice to make it taste better.
----------------------

Naruto Ice Cream bars. It seems that everyone here loves Naruto too. You see Naruto everywhere in Japan.
----------------------

A claw-grabby game trying to lure in some yen by offering a "PZP" as a prize. I dunno about you, but I think I'd rather have a PSP. Are they trying to trick us? Even the stupid gaijin could figure this one out.
----------------------

Did I flip out when I saw this game? YES! Did I play it? Hell no! Those are keyboards, not controllers! I was worried I'd have to type in mission details or something in Japanese. (I later watched two guys play it, and when an enemy appears on the screen, you have to type his name to kill him. Kinda silly, but still looked like fun and the graphics were great!)
----------------------

A really fun game called Pop'n music, which I've played about 4 times since I got here. It's like DDR only you hit buttons with your hands instead of feet.
----------------------

Two girls about 13 years old in Kimonos playing Pop'n Music
----------------------

One of those games that somehow integrates cards. There were about 10 of these little stations, and a big screen up front. I have no idea how it works.
-----------------------

Same game, different arcade.
----------------------

Found this little gem in a music store in Hondo, but it was frickin expensive, and I already have it on my comp, so I didn't buy it.
