As part of my trip to Tokyo, I had the pleasure of staying in two different love hotels. The first one was "City Hotel Dinks" in Kumamoto, and the second was "Hotel Fifteen Love" in Shibuya. For those of you who don't know, Love Hotels are hotels that charge by the hour, but have special rates for overnight stay, as long as you check in after a certain hour, usually 10pm or midnight. They also have various things inside to aid and promote certain activity.

City Hotel Dinks (Kumamoto City)

2800yen for 5 hours, or 5800 to stay the night after 10pm.

I thought the lobby looked pretty classy.

To increase privacy and anonymity, there is no clerk, you just push the button corresponding to the room you want, and the door unlocks until after you walk in. When it comes time to pay, there's a little old lady behind an opaque window with only a little hole about waist level to pass the money through (kinda like a gas station after midnight, only the glass in the window isn't see-through.

It's true what they say: Love hotels are cheaper and nicer than regular hotels, this one had a top of the line computer in the room, in addition to a dvd player and karaoke machine. To the right of the computer is a list of "costumes" that can be rented or purchased (not sure which).

Some shots of the room. This hotel is really a bargain, and if you don't believe me, go check out the Hokkei Club Hotel in the "other" section that was about the same price.

In addition to the shower hose, there are two places that each have two shower heads positioned strategically so that you can wash your face and your wing-wang at the same time.
----------------------

The "Love Box" where many fine products can be purchased.
----------------------

Sorry kids, this hotel only comes equipped with Adult size condoms.
----------------------

They provided a really cool body sponge that expands when you open it out of the package. This and all products, from the toothbrush to the condom to the shower cap all say "Welcome and good Luck!" Also, read the CAUTION on the back.

Hotel Fifteen Love (Tokyo)

The door to the hotel.
----------------------

Hotel Fifteen Love was about 2000 yen more than City Hotel Dinks. (Currently 115 yen = $1).

The choice of rooms for this establishment.
----------------------

Can you guess what the "SM" means? Notice the Big X in the corner with the handcuff hanging from it? (Unfortunately, this room was occupied)
----------------------

You won't find a tv like this in a business hotel.
----------------------

Or a tub like this!
----------------------

Or wonderful Fashion Shopping! You can even buy a school girl or nurse costume!
----------------------

They have provided free coffee, tea, and ramen free of charge, and other goodies in the fridge for a fee. In summation, you really can't beat a love hotel deal, unless you go to an internet cafe.
